With the Rotor ALDHU, Rotor has developed a trend-setting road bike crank system that can be freely configured and assembled without special tools or specialist knowledge. Thanks to the Direct Mount System, the exchange of blades is a matter of minutes when using the combination chainring in one-piece design or single blades with Direct Mount Spider. An Allen key is all it takes. Whether with round chainrings or Rotor's oval Q-rings, everything is possible and available in many variants. The Direct Mount System of the Aldhu enables for the first time the fine adjustment of oval chainrings in 1 degree steps and thus an incomparable individualisation to the personal demands.
In the Aldhu configuration, several chainring combinations milled from a single block (one-piece design) are available, pushing the system weight below the magical 600 gram mark. Alternatively, the crank can also be configured with a lightweight Direct Mount Spider and two single chainrings.
These chainrings are mounted on the 110x4 DM spider of the ALDU and are mounted on the axle using the direct mount method without tools. To change the Spider chainring unit only a 10mm hexagon socket wrench is needed to mount and dismount the crank arm on the drive side.
The chainrings can also be mounted on the Shimano 4 Arm crank. For optical reasons, Rotor recommends the appropriate Rotor Cover for use with Shimano crank systems.
