Giant Trance X Advanced Pro 2 Svart (carbon)
From fast, rough descents to technical terrain, this progressive trail bike gives you active suspension, adjustable frame geometry and everything you need to get your singletrack game on.
29er confidence and control
29-inch wheels optimized to roll over technical terrain with balance and stability. Giving you more momentum on tricky climbs and confidence to fly on fast singletrack descents. Additional clearance for up to 2.5-inch tires.
Progressive suspension
The Maestro rear suspension features a trunnion mount shock with a longer stroke and smoother feel. With 135 mm of travel at the rear (and 150 mm at the front), it features an Advanced Forged Composite upper swingarm for increased stiffness and strength, as well as a lower overall frame weight.
Adjustable Geometry
A flip chip allows you to change the head tube angle, seat tube angle, and bottom bracket height to fine-tune the ride. You can choose the low position (65.5/77.2 head tube angle and 40 mm bottom bracket height) for fast, open terrain or the high position (66.2/77.9 head tube angle and 30 mm bottom bracket height) for slower, tighter singletrack.
Maestro Suspension Technology
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages combine to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
Flip Chip - Maestro
The Flip Chip allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of your Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better know how and where you ride. It allows you to change the head tube/seat tube angle and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-stage) hardware located on the top rocker arm.
Advanced Composite Technology
GIANT's high-performance carbon fiber is used to make this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.
Advanced Forged Composite Technology
This high-pressure molding process produces components with complex shapes that are lighter and stronger than aluminum or standard composite parts. The key to Advanced Forged Composite technology is multi-directional carbon construction and an innovative molding process that uses extreme pressure.
