EWS tracks are getting harder and harder, Enduro tyres wider and wider, and professional riders want an Enduro-capable wheel. This wheel is the EX 1501 SPLINE ONE 30. Often used on the front wheel to generate as much grip as possible where it is most needed, it is the wheel for those who are looking for the toughest trails or live in the Alps anyway. Sturdy, light and really tough - the EX 1501 SPLINE ONE 30.
Tubeless tyres offer some decisive advantages over the conventional combination of tyre and tube: The tyre can be driven with less pressure without risking snakebites, providing more grip. The lower pressure also increases ride comfort. The absence of the inner tube means that there is no friction between the tube and the tyre and therefore less rolling resistance when driving off-road and over obstacles. If tubeless milk is also used, the tyre is also immune to punctures and small cuts. A big advantage for all those who like to travel long distances and away from the nearest bike shop. Tubeless Ready rims from DT Swiss have further advantages over conventional rims. Thanks to the design of their cross-section, the tyre simply pops into place when inflated, so that usually only a normal stand pump is needed. The ingenious profile of the DT Swiss rims also ensures a precise and secure fit for the tyre, even under tough driving conditions.
PHR - Pro Head Reinforcement System. The PHR system increases the load-bearing surface of the nipples on the rim and reduces local loads. Peak loads are reduced, allowing DT to make the rim even lighter. The shape of the disc also acts as a ball joint and automatically aligns the specific DT Squorx Pro Head ball nipples with the spoke, reducing the risk of spoke breakage or rim cracking.
PRO LOCK Technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, allowing the construction of extremely durable impellers. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and cures completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. Repeated re-centering is possible without problems, whereby the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
RATCHET SYSTEM Technology
The patented freewheel system with high-precision toothed pulleys guarantees maximum load capacity and reliability. Thanks to the no-tool concept, the system is very easy and quick to maintain.
