Developed and already used in the Enduro World series competition, this performance-optimised rubber compound offers excellent grip at lean angles as well as excellent braking under extremely difficult riding conditions. The Michelin MAGI-X series is basically intended for use as front tyres.
For safe and controlled riding on challenging enduro tracks, Michelin recommends using GUM-X rubber compound as the rear tyre and Magi-X rubber compound as the front tyre.
HD Protection Bead2Bead:
The HD Protection technology consists of textile fibres which, woven crosswise, form a high-density (HD) protective layer. This allows a very good compromise between high puncture resistance and low rolling resistance without compromising the weight of Michelin competition tyres.
Since its invention by Michelin and its introduction into competition in 1986, the Michelin research and development team has worked year after year to continuously improve the performance of the protective layer. The HD Protection Bead2Bead version is optimised for use in road racing.
A skin wall flank lets the texture of the carcass shine through. The advantages are less weight and more power.
